If you're switching to Access Soda as your gift voucher provider but already have existing vouchers purchased through another system, Access Soda can seamlessly import all your previously sold vouchers into the Soda platform.
This means you can enjoy all the benefits of Access Soda's voucher platform whilst maintaining continuity for your existing customers. Simply get in touch with our support team, and we'll guide you through the straightforward import process.
To get import previous gift vouchers, follow the steps below:
Create your brand and vouchers within Access Soda.
Provide us with an Excel spreadsheet containing the following information:
Column 1 - Customer Name.
Column 2 - Email.
This can be the customers' email or a generic company email.
Column 3 - Purchase Date.
This is optional.
Column 4 - Purchase Reference.
This is optional.
Column 5 - Voucher Code.
This is optional.

When importing vouchers into Access Soda, we can use the original voucher code. For the Access Tonic checkout to recognise the voucher code so that customers can automatically redeem their voucher against tickets, they'll need to add 'VR-' in front of it. You'll need to communicate this with your gift voucher customers.
The code will have a new expiry date from the date the voucher was uploaded to Soda, which will be based on the validity length of the voucher you've created (e.g. 12 months from the point of upload).
