Redeem a voucher in Access Soda
To redeem a voucher in the Access Soda admin, please follow the below steps:
Log in to your Access Soda account, then click on the purple Look Up Vouchers button at the bottom left hand side of the page.
Search for the voucher you want to redeem by entering one of the below in the search box:
Voucher code such as VR-CXNC73C9NYF3ONE.
Purchase reference such as VR-1000793416.
Recipient name.
Purchaser email.
Purchaser name.
Click into the transaction.
If the voucher hasn't yet been redeemed it will be highlighted orange on the left hand side such as in the image below.
If a voucher has already been redeemed it will be highlighted purple on the left hand side. You will also be able to click into the Redemptions button to view the details of the redemption.
Click the Redeem button. You will be given the option to provide redemption details such as details of customer and if the voucher is redeemable up to value, you will also be asked how much of the voucher value you would like to redeem.
Select the Redeem Voucher button to save.
Redeem a voucher in Access Tonic
Vouchers can be set up to be redeemed against an event on Access Tonic and will also advertise the voucher by displaying a 'Buy Gift Voucher' button on the event page.
Follow the steps below to ensure your voucher is successfully linked to your event:
Click on Vouchers and then Edit Details.
Navigate to DesignMyNight Listing.
Under Events, use the search bar to find your event.
Select Submit to save the change.
Once your voucher has been set up with your event, a customer will be able to redeem up to five vouchers is the checkout by entering their voucher code into the add discount / voucher code box:

π Note: If the customer has a voucher which is the same price or more than the cost of the ticket, the booking fee is removed from the Access Tonic checkout.
Redeeming a monetary voucher
The price of the voucher goes towards the price of the ticket. Depending on the price of the voucher, the customer can redeem it against a ticket which is more expensive, the same price, or a lesser value than the ticket. If the full price of the ticket isn't covered, the booking fee rate is kept to be paid on checkout.
Redeeming an experience voucher
For a customer to successfully redeem an experience voucher against a ticket, the price in checkout needs to match exactly to the voucher such as a Β£50 voucher and a Β£50 ticket.
β οΈ Important: If a customer is purchasing multiple tickets, they will have to do so in separate transactions.
Redeem a voucher in Access Collins
If you're selling gift and experience vouchers through Access Soda, you can redeem a voucher against a booking by following the steps below:
Click Diary and select a booking.
Click View Booking, then click Payments.
Under Soda Gift Voucher, click Add Voucher.
Enter the Soda voucher code, then click the magnifying glass
icon.
If the voucher is redeemable, click Add to Booking.
If the voucher has already been used, a notification displays, click Close.
Click SAVE.
To redeem the voucher, click Redeem, then click Add to booking.
You can see the voucher in the Payments section with the payment type Soda Voucher. The notes automatically populate with Redeemed Voucher and the voucher code for your reference.
View voucher details in Access Collins
You can view the voucher details on the following sections:
Customised run sheet: In the deposits section.
Function sheet: In the deposits section.
Waiter slip: In the deposits section.
Payments report.
You can see which vouchers were redeemed in Access Collins and for what bookings in your Access Soda redemptions report. Once you've redeemed a voucher in Access Collins, you can't redeem it again in Access Soda, and visa versa.
Allow guests to add their voucher details when booking
Follow the steps below to successfully allow guests to input their Access Soda gift voucher code when making a booking through your Access Collins widget:
Click Settings.
Click Organisation.
Click Custom fields(beta) on the left side panel.
Click +Add custom field. This will open up a new menu, where you will have the option to create a new Label which can have different types of input for the user.
Input the label name, select Text (Provides the user with a field for free-text input), then click Add.
Click Apply on sites to select the sites needed for this custom field.
Click Apply to venues.
Save.
The booking widget will now show the custom field created in previous step:
Once in place, you will be able to see the voucher code provided by the guest within the DMN booking page:
